What very well could be the next BMW 5-Series has been spotted jetting about Germany, complete with all of the new-car-camo necessary to dissuade us auto journos. If you peer beneath the distractions, you can see a more pronounced shnozz with larger bimmer nostrils, as well as a hood that shares some DNA with the current Z4. The car still carries most of the same proportions as today’s model, and word on the street is the new version will be powered by a turbo eight coupled to a variety of 6-speed trannies. Don’t hold your breath though, odds are we won’t see this new 5-Series till 2010.
