thetumbler Batmobile to Race at Silverstone

I know it’s a tad, um, childish, but I’ve got a car-crush on the new Batmobile. See, I’m too young to fully appreciate the George Barris built Lincoln Futura bat-car. When I was thirteen I did have a poster of the Batmobile from the first Michael Keaton movie. But I wouldn’t hang one up now, as it looks goofy. I would, however, love to have a poster of “the Tumbler,” the river jumping Chevy 350-powered Hummer-cum-Lamborghini from Batman Begins. I really dig it. Well then, good news for me (and other geeks) — as part of a Toyota promotion, the newest Batmobile will be running some demonstration laps at Silverstone along with a Toyota TF108 to promote the new Dark Knight film. Wish I was gonna be there…
