veyron30 Bugatti Veyron Successor To Race At Le Mans?

It’s no great secret that us Fiends love Veyrons. Sadly, the best way to make a little money blogging is to start with a lot of money. Meaning that for the time being we can’t afford one. But 300 lucky bastards dudes can. And when they’re all are sold, that’s all she wrote. However, there might be another. The secretive Aussies at Motor Authority are reporting that Bugatti intends on building a successor. When: 2011 or 2012. What: CEO Franz-Josef Paefgen is saying that Bugatti has boxed themselves into a bit of a corner. The Veyron heir will have to feature the same sort of meshugana specs and performance offered by the current car. Just speculating here, but we figure the new car will be even faster. 260 mph? Why not. Besides, 0-184 mph in 16.7 seconds is kinda slow. But: Gas prices and emission headaches might wreak havoc with Paefgen’s plans. And: They might take the new beast racing! No word yet, but as MA points out, Le Mans seems properly aristocratic. More when we know more. [Motor Authority]
