Throw a couple of superchargers at BMW’s already potent M6 and you get the worlds fastest convertible. At least you do according to G-Power, the German tuner. They call their construction the Hurricane. We doubt they realize the moniker is associated with step-up-from-tractor powered Willy’s Jeeps here in the states. Either way, the car cranks out an extra128 horsepower over the stock 507, boosting the V10 oomph to 635 hp (thanks to twin, belt-drive blowers mounted on each cylinder bank). The system uses a water to air intercooler and off planet engine mapping to control the chaos under hood. The combined effect also ups torque from 383 to 468 lb-ft. That’s some big league twist. So what’s all that power good for? Try 4.6 second 0-60 runs in a two ton behemoth. Top speed weighs in at just under 200 mph — in a convertible. If you absolutely have to hit the double century mark in your drop top, get ready to shell out some coin. This ride goes for $290k. Check the gallery for more shots.

Unfortunately, most do not remember the Willys Jeeps. It is a shame!
