The tuning mantra is pretty easy to remember—more power, cheaper. Since that’s the case, it should come as no surprise that Hyundai is casting their newest sport coupe toward the wrenching crowd. The car comes with a 310 horsepower V6, and while that configuration may not be gas friendly, it provides the torque that the available Mitsu Evo based 223 horse turbo four doesn’t. If the thought of a rear-wheel drive turbo four banger doesn’t get your blood pumping, you might want to take a trip to the ER, something’s wrong. Still think it’s just a Hyundai? The company is vowing to produce track versions of the car. No word on coinage just yet, but we suspect the car will probably land somewhere between Nissan’s 350Z and the G37 coupe. Keep your eyes peeled for the car come February of 2010.
