Evidently, it’s all the rage in Munich to wrap your new 335i in white vinyl. After snapping up a black version of his BMW, this guy decided he’d be happier with white, but not permanent white. Instead of just having the car painted, he hired a team to wrap the car in Alpine White vinyl. They call if foiling, and while it does change the color of the car for up to four years without harming the paint, it also serves to protect the finish from nicks and dings. You folks out there with a track car that’s worth more than your shoes might want to think about foiling your nose. Track scars are cool and all, but so is shiny paint.
