You may remember the 600 horsepower Challenger cranked out by the twisted wizards at Hennessey. The boys finally got around to running their mega beast at the strip, resulting in a high 11 second pass on the American meter stick, the 1/4 mile. The car sounds like it could benefit from some much wider, much stickier rubber out back. Listen closely and you can hear the tires pleading for mercy from any of the 620 horses under the hood all the way down the track. We don’t have much love for the Challenger here at ‘Fiends, but the sound of a mighty Mopar devouring the quarter mile is something special. Jump over for the video in all of its tire-smoking glory.
