This is a genuine, one-of-a-kind Lamborghini concept that was originally rolled out in 1996. Designed as a replacement for the iconic Diablo, the Raptor uses much of the same mechanics as the Diablo VT, including the car’s leg noodling 492 horse V12. Of course, driving this beast is a new kind of risky, as Lambo ditched both the traction control and the ABS. We’re not sure whether that was a weight-saving maneuver or an excersize in thinning out the herd of the world’s painfully wealthy. Either way, while we dig on the thought of unadulterated supercar nirvana, controlling all that power in a mid-engine rear-driver would have required the kind of skill few folks out there posses. If you think you’ve got what it takes — the money, that is — cruise on over to Pebble beach and make us jealous. [Autoblog]
