ecoboost Motive Builds An EcoBoost

If you pay close enough attention, occasionally you can catch glimpses of hope that Detroit isn’t irreversibly screwed. Cars like Ford’s Fiesta and the Pontiac Solstice prove that the big three have the innovation and desire to produce either good-looking, fun to drive cars, or good transportation that returns impressive fuel economy. The most recent gasp of optimism is Ford’s EcoBoost V6, a turbo V6 that could do all the work of FoMoCo’s V8’s while dishing out respectable mpgs. Stu Fowle over at Motive Magazine got the chance to get up close and personal with one of the first production EcoBoost engines out there. We’re jealous. Cruise over to Motive and see what you think. Us Fiends always dig more power via less fuel. Always. [Motive]
