Of all the rolling automotive abortions I’ve seen over the years, this mutant might take the cake. A neo-Da Vinci has transformed a lowly 114,000 mile 1996 Lincoln Towncar into what they think resembles a Bentley Arnage. I think it looks like a pimp’s Lincoln Towncar, and not one of those high-class pimps that work with people like former New York Governor Eliot Spitzer. I find it so hideous it makes me want to cry out of my ears. Note the fine attention to detail on the conversion, including the Rolls-Royce of Beverly Hills license plate frame and dealer temp plate. The TowncArnage also features appalling two-tone paint, quad antennae, Bentley-styled seat covers, lots of stick-on plastiwood. I can’t tell what’s more depressing, though. That the seller claims a $45,000 investment in the conversion (you can buy an actual Bentley Arnage with 1/3 the miles for $50k) or that 62 disturbed eBayers have placed bids on it.
