They were going to call it the Brock Coupe. Then they decided to call it the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe. More of a proper name, for sure. And long one of my favorite cars. Did I mention that Superformance let me drive it, not just lean against its fiberglass shell? They let me drive it fast, too. Owner Ashton Stander asked me how many tickets I have (at the moment, zero), nodded and then told me it was OK to bury the throttle. Whoa mamma. For now, all I ask that you all empty out your retirement accounts and send me the cash. $120,000 or so is the price of admission. Look how happy I am. Don’t you want me to be happy?
