Edo Competition Ferrari FXX: Street Legal

Here’s the skinny on the Ferrari FXX. The company only produced 30 of these lightning-fast, Enzo-based track cars, with the last one going to Michael Schumacher. Powered by a 6.3-liter version of the V12 found in the Enzo, now putting out around 800 horsepower, the car is all muscle, no fat. It weighs just 2,500 lbs. Owners who shelled out the $2.5 million could only drive the car on track days approved by Ferrari. Or at least that’s how it used to be. German company Edo Competition claims to have taken one of the uber-rare stallions and made it street legal. How long you think till we see this thing in pieces on the side of the road? Hop the jump to hear what 800 Italian horsepower sounds like. [Source: WCF]
