As you may have guessed, I’m a big kei car fan. Love the little guys. I also love the current, but soon to be old, Nissan Cube. Therefore you just know I’m going to be gaga over a kei car that looks just like the nearly-kei car Cube. In truth, the new-faced Alto Lapin (AKA Mazda Spiano) is a nice cross between the 2008 and 2009 Cubes. Now, some of you may scoff at the Alto Lapin’s 0.67-liter 3-banger that makes 54 hp. But before you do, know that there’s a turbocharged version of that same mill that kicks out 64 hp. That’s nearly the magical 100 hp per liter. Toss in optional 4WD, a hot pink paint job, several giggling Japanese school girls and well sir, you’d totally have something. Something awesome. Again, I really dig it. [Source: Car Scoop]

Lapin is a french word for a rabbit. I looked at the automobile, and you know it does really have something in common woth the animal! it is white cute and the headlight are resembling of the eyes! great!
