Toyota pulled an LF-A prototype out of the bowels of R&D for some time on track at Fuji Speedway recently. Autoweek was able to get their paws on a couple of grainy shots of the supercar on the tarmac, and it looks pretty damn menacing. Supposedly the company plans to unveil the production version of the car in 2009 with plans to start building just 500 models in 2010. That all runs contrary to word we heard earlier in the year that the car was on the shelf permanently. Of course, that all depends on how many people have $300,000 to shell out for a 500 horsepower V10 Toyota. With automakers all over the globe en fuego right now, only time can tell. Hop over to Autoweek for a look. [Source: Autoweek]
