nomad3 Picture Of The Day Part Deux: 2004 Chevrolet Nomad Concept

Our winged managing editor, Loverman, was kind enough to remind me that not so long ago, GM teased us with this little number. Just five short years back, the Nomad Concept rolled onto the scene at the 2004 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The car was designed off of the same platform as the Pontiac Solstice, and was really too small to be useful hauling anything around, but it was damn good looking. It borrowed heavily from the first generation Nomad, which pulled heavily form the Corvette of the day. What’s more, it was powered by none other than a 2.2-liter version of my beloved Ecotec four-banger. Of course, GM lacked the anatomy to actually build this MINI fighter, but hey, what’s new?

It’s not too late… oh, wait, it is. GM is too busy bailing water. This is an prime example of GM’s absolute stupidity. Instead of building two roadsters that would inevitably compete with each other, they could have built one roadster and this.

    GM deserves to die.
