They were just kids. It happens. Though I was at the time annoyed by them as I was (albeit slowly) taking precisely the racing line. I think I said "how do you start this thing?" having stalled it, and not actually sure how to prime the overcomplicated ignition switch system... Clay on the radio was shouting for me to roll down the hill backwards. I wasn't so sure because a) I didn't want to go off the edge, get stuck in the mud and/or roll b) I couldn't see very well backwards. Sharks aren't made for reversing c) I still hadn't found the starter button and I thought I might need the gravity for a roll-start I was the one (on my third lap ever in a race car, though not racing per se) being Pit manouevred by the punks.
