With the return of the Camaro comes the resurrection of the affordable pace-car variant. The Corvette has held the honor of pacing the Daytona 500 for the past two years, it’s about to abdicate the throne for little brother Camaro. The SS makes the third Camaro in the history of the race to take the honor and the first one since 1969 [Ed: yes, an Indy pacer is pictured]. Odds are we’ll see a production version of the car, complete with similar grey and orange graphics, though the strobe lights will likely be left to the real deal. The 51st running of the Daytona 500 is scheduled for Feb. 15, so tune in if you want to catch the 2010 Camaro strutting its stuff in a circle tri-oval. [Source: GM]

Hey Zach! So glad you are keeping this blog alive! What happened to Steve and Johnnie? Again, so appreciative you are carrying the load on your own…
Salut, n8rsk8r! Thanks for the props. Captain Levy is still working his magic on ‘Fiends in the background, and Dr. Lieberman can be found wandering the wastes of the Web in search of his fabled Locost.
We appreciate you guys sticking around through the thin spots!
