I. Romanian designer Iulian Bumbu made some predictions about the future of Lamborghini this week with his Insecta concept. The design is based on insect exoskeletons and the resemblance is more than just a passing similarity. Even though Bumbu may have nailed the insect thing, we aren’t sure it works for Lambos. II. A wealth of information about Aston’s One-77 got leaked to the web. The document contains information from how the car’s aluminum shell is formed to its carbon fiber monocoque bulkheads. Aston engineers also managed to make the car’s 7.3-liter V-12 25 percent lighter than the 6.0-liter upon which it’s based. All that effort payed off in that the One-77 only weighs 3,300 pounds, which gives it a 600 pound weight advantage over the McLaren SLR. With 700 hp on tap, and a near-perfect 49-51 per cent weight distribution, the new Aston should rip. [Source: The Car Fanatic]

III. Carroll Shelby agreed to license a continuation run of cars for customers of the now-defunct Unique Performance. After Unique got shut down for being shady, the void left some customers wondering not only about their Eleanor replicas but their security deposits, too. They sued Shelby. Thus, Carroll will be making a run of the cars to smooth things over with angry Unique Performance customers. [Source: Autoblog]

IV. If you want a Sentra SE-R but can’t see paying $21k for one, Nissan has a new car for you. Priced at $18k, the Sentra FE+ 2.0 SR gives you all the bodywork of the SE-R and 16-inch alloys without the performance mods. The car gets a 140 hp four-pot backed by a CVT for fuel economy, hence FE+. Clever. [Source: Autoweek]

V. The Porsche Panamera has been spotted in production trim. Left in an outer parking lot at the Geneva Auto Show, the car got photographed in all its glory before its official release at Shanghai. While the hefty German is a little on the big side overall, we love those yellow calipers and the wheels. [Source: Car and Driver]
