10shelbygt500 09 hr Picture Of The Day: 2010 Shelby Mustang GT500

Nothing automotive invokes “God Bless America” more than a Shelby Mustang and IMHO the 2010 GT500 is the 21st century pinnacle of the line’s awesomeness. Sure the last year’s GT500KR was up there but it still smacked a little of tuner car and lacks the new found cohesiveness of the latest gen version. We had an opportunity to put it through its paces a couple of weeks ago on track and the roads of Napa valley and were more than impressed. Review coming shortly. In the meantime feast on this Grabber Blue version.

The SVT treatment of hood/grille on these really helps out the lines over the GT.

I normally enjoy any color of car as long as its black (Ferrari is the obvious exception).

But this year there have been some really good Blue cars coming out… The above Mustang, the Monterey Blue on the 370Z and the Challenger in Deep Water Blue Pearl.

Love it, snake on the wrong side of the grill and all

tj99959: The grill altogether needs to be removed in true Cobra fashion. :)

I’m very glad they didn’t put the inner set of round lights on the grill like on the standard models. This looks is much cleaner and meaner.
