’57 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa Doesn’t Believe In Recessions

When news first popped up that delicious 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa was hitting the auction block, no one figured it’d go for cheap. At the same time, I don’t think anyone was expecting it to fetch $12 million, either. Well, to be fair, it actually sold for 9,020,000 Euros, making it the most expensive car ever sold at auction. Ever. We’re as much for preserving auto history as the next Fiend, but $12 million could have saved a lot of tin. [Source: Luxist]
