The company was making serious bank under its contract to supply GM with Commodores to be rebadged as Pontiac G8’s. Now that Poncho is headed to the scrap heap, word on the Web is that Holden is scrambling to come up with a business case for the Commy in various other GM lines – including Cadillac. Could this be the first shot in a long time at a genuine Caddy that zigs? Is GM interested in another V8 beast under the crest?
