Yesterday’s news that the Lexus LF-A will boast GT-R besting stats is cool as hell, but the video after the jump popped up in the late afternoon to temper the excitement. In it, you see one of the competition-spec LF-As in the last two hours of the 24 Hours of Nurburgring come to a stop on the side of the track – on fire. It’s hard to say exactly what went wrong, and Lexus is keeping its lips sealed about the incident. The good news is safety workers were able to extinguish the flames before the yet-to-be supercar went supernova. Hop the jump for a look yourself. [Source: ZerCustoms]
