
GM just announced it has finally found a buyer for Hummer. But who could it be? Your guess is as good as ours. Whoever picked up the rights to GM’s Earth crushing premium off-road brand is keeping their lips sealed. The General said it reached a tentative agreement with its unnamed buyer who promises to produce new models and save manufacturing jobs. Dang. Seems like a win-win for fans of the brand and workers alike. The press release does say that the company’s South African plant, which produces right-hand drive models, will be closed down.
