Anyway you slice it, Obamas got a pretty cool ride. I was taken aback by just how cool it was when I saw video of it rolling down Pennsylvania Ave dwarfing big Chevy SUVs. Seriously, thats a Limo. Mr. Justin and me discuss The Beasts cool factor, and touch briefly on whether or not Cadillac should be in the business of building cars like this. Maybe not 10,000 pound beasts of burden, but big, imposing sedans. Your thoughts? And of course, have a listen. Justin doesnt seem to think that the car makes a whole ton of sense for plain old Volkswagen. I agree, especially since the underwhelming Eos seems to be much more VWs style these days. As for the Audi version 99% likely to be badged R4 that makes good sense. Everyone (and their mother) is all over the righteous R8 but the $120,000 sticker is a high barrier to entry. But what about a 7/8s version with similar styling, 75% of the performance at one third the cost? Winner. As for Porsche, well, with the current financial situation being what it is, a lower-priced Porsche may be just what the doctor ordered. Especially if its a good car. Like the old 914, despite whatever Justin says. Have a listen.
