Texas manufacturer Ronn Motor Company has announced plans to deliver a 40-mpg supercar utilizing Acura V6 power coupled to a “Hydrogen-on-demand” system. Depending on breathing options (twin-turbo anyone?) the questionably named Scorpion will generate either 289 or 450+ horsepower. Though the verdict is still out on whether or not this is a pretty car, it’s most definitely an intriguing proposition. And with a price tag of $150K, it will be relatively reasonably priced for a boutique-built, hydrogen burning exotic. First deliveries are said to hit the valet stands at the end of the year.
