While Levy said the new Mitsu Ralliart just isn’t as compelling a package as the new Subaru WRX, I’m still pretty excited. Why? I like sporty wagons. I do. I drive a neon blue one (fine — Subaru Rally Blue). Sure, wagon versions weigh a bit more but they also give you better weight distribution — important in cars that started out FWD. Plus, they’re usefu and stealthy. Like you could haul lots of stuff at high speeds and no one would be the wiser — they think you’re just late for soccer practice. I happen to think the Sportback Ralliart looks pretty good, too — sorta like a baby X6. The fast wagon will be making it’s first stage appearance soon enough in Paris and then going on sale in Europe shortly after. Will it reach American soil? Tough to say, though we think Mitsubishi would be nuts for not bringing it here. I mean, search your heart, look me in the eyes and tell me that you don’t want a 237 hp turbocharged AWD station wagon. Exactly. Especially as that 237 hp claim is pretty damn underrated… [Source: Motor Authority]
