Contrary to earlier sentiments from the land of Tesla, Elon Musk (head honcho in those parts), has said that the all-electric company would consider cranking out an SUV based on the Model S platform. Just a short while back, a voice from Tesla marketing said no way no how to the idea of a high-riding ‘lectric. We’re not sure what spurred the change in heart, but the really interesting news is that Musk is confident they can produce a vehicle in the $20,000-$30,000 range with some help from a major automaker.
