camaro Top Gear: What If The 2010 Chevrolet Camaro Is Really Good?

Hammond over at Top Gear has a novel question for the world. What if the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro turns out to be not just good, but really good. Citing solid evidence like the burly 6.2-liter V8 under the hood and the car’s independent suspension on all four corners, the optimistic Brit sees a little more Z06 than Aveo in the new Bow Tie. The rest of the crew isn’t buying it. We’ve never herded Bison here at Autofiends, but maybe we should give it a try. Clarkson seems to think us Yanks have a genetic predisposition for hunting and gathering techniques and not much else. We’re not saying who we agree with. But as the new Camaro is essentiually a lightened, shortened Pontiac G8, well, Clarkson and May are stupid. It would be nice if the legends of American engineering garnered some respect across the pond, but that stuff isn’t given. It’s earned. Jump for the clip.
