mclaren Last McLaren SLR Roadster Could Be Yours

Why? Because the very last drop head McLaren SLR roadster to ever be produced is headed for the good ol’ U.S. of A., which means that some filthy stinking rich lucky individual over here could own a piece of history. It probably won’t be us. You know, the garage is full as it is and all, but it could be one of you! The company is auctioning off the last car for charity through an online auction on November 20, with all profits headed toward the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The car will feature a unique paint and interior combo, and according to McLaren, will be the only one of its kind in the country. The special Sienna Pearl paint shines like no other because the color wizards at McLaren shoved metallic particles into the mix three times the size of the stuff you’ll find on your Sebring. Of course, all of the standard crazy go fastness will still be there, including the 5.5-liter, supercharged V8 with its 617 bleeding ponies and 575 lb-ft of torque. Come on, people, it’s for charity.
