BMW itself says it is making “Precise modifications to the design” of the facelifted, sixth-generation 5 Series, and this is the result. The 2014 5 Series will come in four flavors – sedan, Touring, Gran Turismo and ActiveHybrid 5 – the biggest news probably the addition of a diesel engine for the US market. When they go on sale in August, [...]

2014 BMW M5 facelift leaked

Looking instantly recognizable, the updated model has a new grille with larger vertical slats that echo those on the M6. There doesn’t appear to be any other major changes but the headlights could receive some [...]

These spy shots show the new BMW 4 Series coupe completely undisguised, ahead of the car’s expected debut at the Frankfurt motor show in September 2013. Mixing Concept 4 Series proportions with regular 3 Series details, the 4 Series replaces the current 3 Series coupe, and will spawn a high-performance M4 version.

What It Is: A prototype 2014 ATS-V, the upcoming high-performance iteration of Cadillac’s rear-drive 3-series competitor. Similar to the V treatment applied to the CTS-V, the super ATS will get a full suspension, [...]

It was mated to a standard four-speed automatic transmission.
