Spy Shots: 2010 Suzuki Kizashi

You know what’s not easy? Figuring out what the hell fully camo’d cars are. At various times Levy and I were ready to pronounce the above Suzuki he shot on his way into work this morning, a WRX, Altima and Jetta. But, it’s the soon to be released Kizashi, Suzuki’s attempt to break into the mid-size, family saloon market. You know, the one with all the fat, creamy profits and sales — 2 million in the US to be exact. Looking a bit like a Yakuza’d out Chevy Malibu, the top spec Kizashi will feature a 300 hp, 3.5-liter V6, an i-AWD system and a paddle-shifted 6-speed auto. If Suzuki follows the path it laid down with the SX4 — feature packed with great performance at an even better price — this Kizashi might prove itself very interesting. Note the size, its dwarfed by an already ridiculously small parking space at our local market err, top secret Southern California spy shot location — smaller than the now upsized Mazda6 and already bloated Camry and Malibu. Could Suzuki be heading in the right direction here? We’re thinking so, as other than Jetta there’s nothing small to medium sized and interesting out there for decent money. And we do hope that somehow they get close to the concept car pictures we’ve also included. And more details from Suzuki at Kizashi3
