hst Rally Hottie Hoons Electric Cobra

I have loved the Shelby AC Cobra since before I could talk. I kid you not. My favorite Hot Wheel to drool on was a ’66 427, so the news that rally varga Lisa Klassen just had her turn behind the wheel of the electric HST EVx Shelby Cobra was almost too much to handle. One talented hottie, plus an icon of American performance, plus a dash of electric vehicle performance tech, equals a Fiendish trifecta. The HST ride is a carbon fiber concoction that lays down 300 horsepower and 1,000 lb-ft of torque on the rear rubber. It’s good for a 3.2 second 0-60 dash and a 150 mph top end. Those specs are just as good as Mr. Shelby’s Super Snake, fyi. Well worth the $125,000 HST is asking for the car. Even under serious hoonage, the car has a range of about 120 miles and takes only five minutes to charge. Sweet gods of torque do we want one. Ms. Klaassen spent her time at the helm of this super-sexy eco ride doing smoky, smoky EV burnouts. We’re in love. Oh yeah, Tanner Foust was there too. Follow the jump for a vid of the awesome.
