ss Chevrolet To Take 2010 Camaro Orders In October

That’s right, according to the wily journos over at Edmunds, starting next month you can place an order for an SS or V6 Camaro. That’s a full four months before production starts on the car, meaning that these things could sell out long before the first one rolls off the assembly line. We’re not saying that’s going to happen, we’re just saying it could. Knowing all the fanatic Camaro kids on the streets, it wouldn’t surprise us. Dealers are at the helm as far as deposit price goes, but you can expect it to be steep. With the 422-ish hp SS model only getting 3 mpg worse than the V6, we have to ask, why bother with the puny mill at all? Go big or go home — starting next month. [Edmunds]
