Nothing’s sacred, Fiends. Kawasaki has just announced its intention to withdraw from MotoGP. The company started with the series when it began in 2003 and hasn’t managed to secure a championship win since. Fans of the neon-green Kawasaki’s had their hopes set on a new set of drivers and new ZZ-XR racing bikes for 2009. The company joins the likes of Subaru, Suzuki, Audi and Honda – all manufacturers who have abandoned some form of motorsports in 2008 as a result of ever tightening revenue.
