Last Christmas, I was given a calendar featuring a new and unique concept car every month. This month? Jay Leno’s EcoJet. The car started out as an after-hours project for GM engineers, and with The General in the throws of bankruptcy it looks like those wrenches had some extra time on their hands. Based on Corvette architecture, the rig is powered by a Honeywell turbine engine that runs off of biodiesel and is supposedly good for 650 horsepower. It’s been almost two years since the 250 mph rig broke cover, but now that Jay’s out of his Tonight Show gig, he’s taken to showing up at local car shows in the EcoJet. Fiendish. Hop the jump for a video of our favorite comedian-Fiend backing into a parking spot. [Source: Autoblog]

It’s kinda got a face like his.
Leno’s the man. He’s spends crazy money on crazy cars, sure. But the real key is that he actually uses these things, which most collectors never do.
True. I have mad respect for the man for that very reason. He’s a collector you could actually see yourself having a beer with. Of course, it doesn’t hurt anything that he has no problems jumping in under the hood, either.
What about the Xgames? Anyone experience the fail by Paris today? It sure looked like he was done. Apparently the commentators are reporting that he is moving all hisextremities. I thought he he broke his neck. Go check it out on vimeo. He didn’t begin the flip soon enough.
