wrc new Video: Why We Love Rally

There are as many forms of motorsport out there as there are walks of life on this planet, but for me few come close to matching the marvel of rally. And among those that take it to dirt, gravel, snow and tarmac, nothing says rally like the WRC. Recent years have seen the championship lose some of its luster to declining participation and absolute domination by Loeb, but it’s still some of the most entertaining action on four wheels. The video after the jump is a well-executed compilation of rallying history, and more than anything else we’ve seen, it sums up all there is to love about the sport. Everything from Alpines to Group B’s are in attendance, which begs the question: what’s your favorite rally rig? Mine’s pictured above — McRae’s wicked Focus. [Source: Zercustoms]

    Absolutely magnificent.

Up until five odd minutes ago, there was only – one – rally video that I would expect from an RSS feed notice about “Why We Love Rally.” Now there are two.

Thank you for finding this and sharing. Brilliant.

PS – The other video, equally moving, imo.
