You know, 800 horsepower is a lot of gusto for a car this size. It’s really easy to rattle off that number without an eye toward just what that means. These days, 800 ponies isn’t all that big of a deal, especially in light of the tuning scene’s ever-present quest for loftier dyno specs. The video after the jump, however, shows the world just what 800 horsepower means in a car smaller than most folks’ closet. Ford decided to show off exactly what it’s created before the company’s team of wild Fiestas take on the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb this weekend. After the jump you’ll see the car going ape shit on a dealer’s parking lot. Rally legends Andreas Eriksson and Marcus Gronholm will pilot the ballistic compacts through the course’s 12.4 miles and 156 turns. We can’t wait. [Source: Autoblog]
