How about the Mitsubishi Evo IX or the Subaru WRX STI? I get that this is a marketing campaign to sell Mustangs, but I’d like to see them go up against some proven rally cars, not other Mustangs.
Mark was racing that weekend against STI’s, Evo’s etc, and he did fairly well in his mostly-stock mustang against fully-prepared awd rally cars. You are correct that this was a Ford campaign. The winner of this short battle had a chance at a sponsorship for 2010.
